Who are the Knights of Columbus

We are a lay men's organization dedicated to serve the church, the community, families, youth and our members.  The Knights were founded in 1882 in New Haven, Ct by Fr. Michael J. McGivney.  There are 1.7 members with 13,000 councils world wide.

Our Holy Innocents Council (formerly called the Snoqualmie Valley Council) covers the territory from North Bend to Duvall, WA.  It encompasses the parishes of Holy Innocents and Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic in Snoqualmie, WA with its mission Church in Carnation, St. Anthony's.

Current Activities

  • Next meeting August 3, 2010

  • Round Table established at Our Lady of Sorrows and North American Martyrs

  • Acquisition of Defibrillator (AED) for Holy Innocents

  • Members serve on parish commissions and organizations

  • Women's Auxiliary Formed --- Open to all women whether or not they have spouses or family members who are Knights

  • BBQ Competition 7/17

  • Retreat (7/24 Tenative)

  • Duvall Recycle Day refreshments concession end of July

  • Mariner's Baseball Excursion (Family Event) August 8, 2010

  • Washington State BBQ Contest 8/21-22

  • Holy Innocents Parish Picnic, September 11 and 12th, 2010

 

Our Goals

  • To minister to the needs of the Church

  • To help our communities prosper

  • To strengthen our families

  • To help today's youth

  • And to foster a strong, friendly fraternal spirit of fellowship within our council and the Knights of Columbus movement
